The new Alpine A110 is surely one of the most exciting car from the 2010s.
Launched in late 2012 the project was actually along way to a car that would mark its area. The car was designed around a all new aluminum chassis, suspension and a wonderful bodywork created by Anthony Villain.
It is powered by the renown 1.85 liter engine and double clutch gearbox from the Renault Megane in a 252 HP form and was unanimously celebrated for its remarkable handling and great fun at the wheel.
It debuted in 2017 in a limited edition of 1955 examples before entering in 2018 into proper production with a wider option range and colors. Available in Pure or Légende configuration they have been many times voted by the international press as the best sport cars of their generation.
The A110 is a very light and responsive car at the wheel, predictive it oversteers on demand but always in a excellent manner. Every kilometer with it is pure joy and it clearly surprises by its comfort and good willing in todays city traffic. Nicely soundproofed and remarkably soft on its suspension this is a perfect daily driver that can easily be switched into an insane sports car up the Alpine hills…
