It went to Antoine Rafaelli then almost immediately purchased by A. Maeght who kept it until 2001 in his museum at Mougins. In 2001 the Matra changed hands and went to its third owner who entered it at the Monaco Grand Prix Historique in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008. It performed remarkably in 2008, winning its category.
MS120/04 was entirely rebuilt and is today the only MS120 race ready into fully original specifications. The engine is in perfect condition and faithfully to the Matra V12’s legend with this typical and fabulous sound.
The MS120s are really part of the pinnacle of historic Formula 1s and would be welcome by high class events organisers such as Monaco Grand Prix or Goodwood Festival.
