This is one of the very rare 280 SE 4.5 Liter built for the American market as the 6.3 version was not homologated there. This exceptional original car only had one family owner until 2005 in California and only covered 73000km from new. Amazingly it was never restored, it is an extremely well preserved and “times wrapped”car. It was recently serviced and drives « as new » with the very smooth and powerful 4.5 engine. The original colour combination of beige body and grey roof suits the car very nicely, the interior is simply“as new” just as the chromes are. This is probably one of the nicest W109, surviving in such a nice and original condition. A great car for a fine Mercedes collection and an excellent opportunity to purchase a highly original car.
