Model history

This oustanding MS120 chassis number 04 was built as a “B” version in 1971 and raced the 1970 season with Chris Amon, which debuted by a Victory at the Argentina Grand Prix, though it was not at that time figuring at the official F1 calendar. Amon then scored one podium and a lot of points at the championship with this car.

In 1972 this MS120 was upgraded into “C” specifications with different body and engine, Amon drove it again in two Grand Prix finishing 6th at Monaco under terribly wet conditions and 4th at Brands Hatch. It was then retired from racing and kept by Matra until 1979.
